The ANZAC Discoveries teaching
and learning resource is a fabulous gateway to Professional Development
for individual teachers, syndicates, whole staff, and Home Schoolers.
At another
level, a number of the really important philosophical
and pedagogical
(the art and science of teaching and learning) issues have been lifted away
from the resource so teachers can explore ideas - within the context of the
ANZAC Discoveries resource - just in time, rather than just in case!
Examples are Multiple Intelligences, Learning
Centres, and the idea of Setting up for Success.
