Design a wrapper for ANZAC Biscuits:
Your wrapper needs to hold 25 biscuits. Each biscuit is approximately
1cm thick and has a circumference of 26cm.
Include some information on the history of ANZAC biscuits on your wrapper,
maybe under a 'Did You Know?' heading.
What cause could the profits from your biscuits go to? Think about a war
related cause that is important today. Mention this cause on your wrapper.
Look at a biscuit wrapper to work out what other information you will
need to include on your wrapper. Do some research on ANZAC biscuits and
add some of your own creativity to create an authentic wrapper.

Why do we have poppies?
Construct a large ANZAC poppy. Within each petal record, in your own words,
information about why we have the poppy as a symbol of ANZAC Day.
You may find a poem that talks about poppies and war ... a section from
the poem could be included on one of the petals.

Turn back the clock and send a parcel to dad during the war.
Find out what a soldier had as part of his kit and what his meals consisted
of. Read about the types of things that families would send to their soldiers
during the war. Using what you have learnt, make a list of what you could
include in a parcel for Dad.
You could put this 'parcel' together in a variety of ways, here
is one suggestion:
Make a flat parcel. This is like a big card. On the front is what the
wrapped parcel would look like, complete with address, stamp and probably
tied with string. Inside the card could be a note to dad on one
side and on the facing page pictures of what you would include in the
parcel. You could even finish it off by putting a return address on the
back! This is just an idea, add your own creative thinking to come up
with something unique! Remember that this parcel would have been sent
over 50 years ago ... try to make it realistic.
